Safari goes BOOM?
Today I was (I guess) one of the first to get safari for windows. Of course the first thing I did with it was to to the Apple events section of the Apple Quick Time site to see if the keynote video was up. This is what I got: This is the same page rendered in Safari under OSX: I guess something went BOOM somewhere :-(

Writing a Renderer in Python
For my project I want to display point data in pretty colours. I have survey data for villages that record the number of cases of disease and the village population, and I want to colour according to the percentage infected. Red for high, green for low.
Now, I could compute ncases/population, add that to the attribute table of my shapefile, and use the Continuous Color Renderer, but I don’t...
